The Challenge
As part of the Google Professional Certificate, the task was to design a website where users can listen to music and buy high-quality vinyl records. The design needed to be simple and elegant, with deep colors and minimal typography to match the theme of classic vinyl, without distracting visitors.
Design Process
The design process followed a user-centered approach, evolving from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity interactive prototypes. Each stage was informed by user feedback and stakeholder validation.
Key Project Steps

Low-Fidelity Wireframes
I start by gathering the client's needs through sketching of low-fidelity wireframes. Then, I translate those into mid-fidelity designs, incorporating basic colors and functional ideas.

Persona
To better understand the target user, a persona was created based on initial research. This helped guide design decisions and ensure the solution was truly user-centric, focusing on the needs and goals of a typical vinyl enthusiast.

Charte Graphique
A specific color palette and typography were chosen to evoke the classic, elegant feel of vinyl records, ensuring a cohesive and immersive visual identity.

User Flow
A clear user flow was mapped out to ensure a seamless journey from browsing to purchase.

User Tests
I gathered 4 main insights from 9 participants during user tests.
